On 16-21 March 2015 took place “Post VET Course for start-ups” in russian language, for VET Schools graduates.
The “Basis of Entrepreneurship” subject, taken by students of VET schools, provide only basic knowledge, but does not give young people the possibility to start immediately a business. This is precisely why they need further support. Additional training possibility is offered by Center For Entrepreneurial Education And Business Support within “Moldova Employment and Entrepreneurship Education and Training Activity” project – MEEETA III, supported by the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED), to graduates of VET schools, for supporting them throughout the launching a new business.
6 days duration course took place in Chisinau and contained the following topics:
-The viability of selected business ideas
-Marketing
-Establishing the price of products / services provided
-Money – the lifeblood of the business
-Accountancy and financial management of the business
-The production process
In order to encourage the participants, they had the opportunity to meet a young entrepreneur (a professional school graduate) and ask questions. He shared with them their experience from the perspective of the challenges and successes that accompanied him in the way of launching his own business.
In order to develop their IT skills, a room equipped with computers was offered to participants, on the last day of the course.
After the course, participants have to finish their business plans with the support and consultation of trainers and experts, followed by the presentation of the plans on 2 and 3 of April 2015. Subsequently, participants will be able to apply for a grant to start their business.
